Austin’s public transit company was launching a new rapid line through East Austin. The goal? Celebrate the culture of the neighborhood. The solution? Murals, of course.
I teamed up with Sherry Matthews Group to spotlight the street art that makes East Austin iconic. My role: hit the pavement to scout murals, narrow down the best fits for the campaign, and handle community outreach with artists and property owners. I also coordinated contracts between artists and Cap Metro to make the vision real.
Result: a campaign rooted in local art and culture, bringing East Austin’s creative spirit to the forefront.
